AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ENGLAND CONSTRUCTION
FOR RESTROOM RENOVATIONS AT THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
T ' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of England Construction in
the amount of $9,757.36, for restroom renovations at the Paducah Police Department, said bid
being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of England
Construction of October 5, 2001.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
England Construction for restroom renovations at the Paducah Police Department, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Account No. 001-1601-521-4205.
SECTION 4. There is a need to complete renovations due to current terrorist
activities; therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
effective immediately with one reading.
