ORDINANCE NO. 2001-10- 64.3
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY BETWEEN THE U. S.
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR A MATCHING
LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT FOR THE PURCHASE OF POLICE
EQUIPMENT AND OTHER RELATED EXPENSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute all
documents necessary with the U. S. Department of Justice for a matching Local Law
Enforcement Block Grant in the amount of $37,020 for the purchase of a polygraph
machine, polygraph operator training, a K-9 dog, K-9 handler training and other related
(travel, lodging and veterinary costs) expenses. The City's cash match will be in the
amount of $4,113.

SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to account no. 040-1616-
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication
