AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY BETWEEN THE U. S.
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, OFFICE OF COMMUNITY ORIENTED POLICING

SERVICES AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR A GRANT FOR THE PURCHASE
AND INSTALLATION OF MOBILE DATA TERMINAL COMPUTERS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute all
documents necessary with the U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Community
Oriented Policing Services for a technology grant in the amount of $748,350 for the
purchase and installation of mobile data terminal computers in police vehicles.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
