AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CROFT & ADAMS
CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR VARIOUS BUILDING RENOVATIONS AT THE PUBLIC
WORKS FACILITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Croft & Adams
Construction, Inc., in the amount of $41,817.00, for various building renovations at the Public
Works Facility, said bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained
in the bid of Croft & Adams Construction, Inc., of April 25, 2001.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Croft & Adams Construction, Inc., for renovations at the Public Works facility, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Account No. 050-2208-531-2307.
SECTION 4. Due to the need to complete renovations in the FY 2000-2001
budget, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective
immediately with one reading.
