AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-304,
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS, OF SECTION 2,
DIVISION 5, FIRE DEPARTMENT, OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2-304, Residency Requirements, of Sec. 2,
Division 5, Fire Department, is hereby reordained to hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 2-304. Residency requirements.
All members of the Fire Department hired after October 1, 1988, shall
, reside within a fifteen (15) mile air
radius of the Fire Department headquarters, i.e., Fire Station # 1, as a condition of their
continued employment within the Fire Department of the City."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
