AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND HINES

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:0 b C Q-1-/ A/E�D
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an F In P)LoYM EW7--
Employment Agreement between the City of Paducah and Hines G. Smith for
employment as Paducah Police Chief.
SECTION 2. In order to allow the expeditious employment of a Police
Chief, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective
with one reading.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published pursuant to the provisions
of KRS Chapter 424.
