HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-10-6419ORDINANCE NO. 2001-10-_ 6-<i AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND McCRACKEN COUNTY REGARDING APPLICATION BY McCRACKEN COUNTY FOR THE GREENWAY TRAILS PROJECT GRANT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute an Agreement with McCracken County regarding application by McCracken County for the Greenway Trails Project Grant. SECTION 2. This Agreement authorizes the City to provide to McCracken County matching funds in the amount of $50,000, contingent upon McCracken County applying for and receiving a Federal Highway Administration grant in the amount of $50,000 to be used for the City's Greenway Trails Project. 2307. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to account no. 040-8821-536- SECTION 4. An ordinance is hereby declared to exist due to an application 147 deadline of October 12, 2001, with the Department for Local Government and this ordinance will become effective immediately with one reading.
