ORDINANCE NO. 2001-9-6413
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURES IN THE 100
BLOCK OF WASHINGTON STREET
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 2001-5-6351 the City of Paducah approved a
contract with W.A. Davis Construction Inc. in the amount of $79,500.00 for demolition
of structures in the 100 block of Washington Street; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for additional services on this
demolition project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Change Order
No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $12,100.00 with W.A. Davis Construction Inc.,
thereby increasing the total contract amount to $91,600.00 for demolition of structures in
the 100 block of Washington Street.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No.
006-1220-513-2307 CD0023.
SECTION 3. This ordinance- shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
