HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-9-6412137 ORDINANCE NO. 2001 -9 -4y/. -Z, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 14-1(C), "KEEPING OF ANIMALS GENERALLY; KEEPING OF ANIMALS WHICH CONSTITUTE NUISANCE," OF CHAPTER 14, ANIMALS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 14-1(c), "Keeping of Animals Generally; Keeping of Animals Which Constitute Nuisance," of Chapter 14, Animals, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to read as follows: "(c) It shall be unlawful to maintain or house, within the corporate limits of the city, any horse, pony, mule, donkey, cattle, sheep, goat, or other livestock on any lots or parcels less than two acres in size and within 300 feet of a dwelling or business. There are hereby exempted from this section all those horses, mules and ponies stabled at any horse racetrack within the city, including Carson Park Fairgrounds and Annie's Stables located at 501 South Second Street." SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
