ORDINANCE NO. 73-4-792
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
WITH G & M CARPET DISTRIBUTORS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING AND
INSTALLING CARPETING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY?
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah enter into a contract
with G & M Carpet Distributors in the sum of $1,336.68 for the sale
to the City of the necessary carpeting to recover various offices
in City Hall. Said amount, which includes installation, does not
include State Sales Tax or cost of necessary pads.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of the aforesaid carpeting
from G & M Carpet Distributors in compliance with Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
