FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH TAO -WAY RADIO COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Motorola Communications & Electronics, Inc., in the amount of $10,998.05, for furnishing the City of Paducah with the following two-way radio communications equipment: 10 - T43BBA3000K Mobile Units 6 - T-1170ASP1 Extended Pumper Controls 1 - All applicable state and local taxes 1 - Complete turn -key installation 1 - Transportation charges to Paducah, Kentucky Also specification sheets to be furnished for each item. Said bid being in substantial compliance with the specifications set out in the resolution dated December 19, 1972, adopted by the Board of Commissioners authorizing bids, and as contained in the bid of Motorola Communications & Electronics, Inc. dated January 8, 1973, which was received and filed with the Minutes of the Meeting of January 8, 1973. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Motorola Communications & Electronics, Inc. for the purchase of the material as set out in Section 1 above, according to the said resolution and said bid, and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to have said equipment maintained under the existing maintenance contract between the City of Paducah and Motorola Communications & Electronics, Inc. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
