ORDINANCE NO. 75-9-1173
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY SENIOR CITIZENS, INC.
FOR THE HIRING, ON A CONTRACT BASIS, OF TWO EMPLOYEES IN THE PARKS AND
RECREATION DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract with the Paducah -McCracken County Senior Citizens,
Inc., whereby said corporation shall be permitted to employ, on a contract basis,
two employees of the Parks and Recreation Department.
SECTION 2. The aforesaid contract shall provide that the City of Paducah
shall be reimbursed for all wages and fringe benefits incurred by said employees
during the term of the aforesaid contract, and said contract shall be for a term of one
year, and shall contain any other appropriate provisions which shall be deemed necessary
in the opinion of the Corporation Counsel.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its finnl pnssage, and if adopted shall be
in full force and effect immediately therenf er.
