HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 992, Ordinance Number 75-9-1171992 1 ORDINANCE NO. 75-9-1171 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF JOE DONALD WYATT, 723 SOUTH 13TH STREET, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN LOTS 22 AND 23 OF BLOCK 1 OF LITTLE'S ADDITION FOR THE SUM OF $300.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Joe Donald Wyatt in the amount of $300.00 to purchase the interest of the city in the following described land in said city, be accepted, said land being described as follows: Lots Nos. 22 and 23 in Block No. 1 of Little's Addition, each lot fronts 50 feet on the west side of Little Avenue, and as shown on Page 7 of Block Map Book No. 7 in the office of the City Engineer. Lot No. 22 (Kelzie s Maude Wyatt property) having been conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed dated May 1, 1972 and of record in Deed Bock 540, Page 54 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office; and Lot No. 23 (Maude Wyatt property) having been conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed dated April 24, 1972, and of record in Deed Book 539, page 480 in the said clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $300,00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Joe Donald Wyatt all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
