HODGES, 1112 NORTH 8TH STREET, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN A CERTAIN LOT ON NORTH 7TH STREET, BEING LOT 52 IN BLOCK 29 OF THE NORTON ADDITION, FOR THE SUM OF $100.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Henry C. Hodges in the amount of $100.00 to purchase the interest of the city in the following described land in said city be accepted, said land being described as follows: Being Lot 52 in Block 29 in the Norton Addition, fronting 48 feet on the south side of North 7th Street, and as shown on page 22 of Block Map Book No. 3 in the office of the City Engineer. Being the same land (Robert Gray property) conveyed to the City of Paducah on August 29, 1972 by Ben C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed of record in Deed Book 544, page 269 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $100.00 to the City Treasurer, the mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to henry C. (lodges all the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption. Mayor Passed by the Board of Commissioners September 16, 1975 Recorded by Sarnh Thurman.
