HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 957, Ordinance Number 75-7-1150957 ORDINANCE NO. 75-7-1150 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF SHAWNEE FENCF COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF A 36 -INCH CHAIN LINK FENCE TO BE ERECTED AROUND NOBLE PARK LAKE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Shawnee Fence Company for sale to the City of a 36 -inch chain link fence to be erected around Noble Park Lake for the sum of $8,883.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on June 24, 1975, and as con- tained in the bid of Shawnee Fence Company dated July 11, 1975. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Shawnee Fence Company for sale to the City of the items authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for same shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 5125. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for one (1) week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
