HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 949, Ordinance Number 75-7-1147ORDINANCE NO. 75-7-1147 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING TILE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COWIMISSION RESPECTING THE AMENDMENT OF A PORTION OF SECTION 51 OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1971, AND AMENDING SAID ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on July 7, 1975, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF A PORTION OF SECTION 51 OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1971", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That Sub -section 51.08 of Section 51 of the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1971 be, and the same is hereby, amended and reordained so that said sub -section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows: 51.08 Sign Regulations (a) Signs advertising the name of subdivisions, churches, public or parochial schools may include an attached or freestanding announcement sign, bulletin board or wayside pulpit not ex- ceeding 25 square feet in area and illuminated only by indirect lighting. (b) Temporary signs not exceeding 4 square feet in area for adver- tising the same or lease of real estate, future use or development of properly and which sign shall be removed on completion of same. (c) Signs for advertising kindergarten shall be the same as Section 40.182 (d). SECTION 3. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, pi,ragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
