HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 940, Ordinance Number 75-7-1143ORDINANCE NO. 75-7-1143 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF FRANK SIRLS, ROUTE 9, WATSON ROAD, PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY AT 1101 SOUTH 3RD STREET, FOR THE SUM OF $700.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERIC TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Frank Sirls in the amount of $700.00, to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in said city, be accepted, said land being described as follows: Lot 11, Block 4, Addition "E", formerly known as 1101 South 3rd Street, fronting 53 feet on the west side of 3rd Street and 163.25 feet deep, and as shown on page 10 of Block Map Book 5 in the office of the City Engineer. Being the same land (Luther A. and Norma Jo Franklin property) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, City Treasurer, by deed of record in Deed Book 544, page 615 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office. SECTION 2. Upon payment of the sum of $700.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Frank Sirls all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate Survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and I after its adoption.
