HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 907, No Resolution Number907 / A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF AN AIR COMPRESSOR TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND PRESCRIBING THE MANNER IN WHICH BIDS SHALL BE SUBMITTED BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to advertise for bids for sale to the City of Paducah of an air compressor to be used by the Paducah Fire Department, having the following specifications: "A. Technical Data Free air delivered at 2850 psi. 5.0 cfm Max. working pressure: 3200 psi Speed: 1300 rpm Number of Stages: 3 Cylinder 1st Stage: 2.3/4" 2nd Stage: 1.27/64" 3rd Stage: 35/64" Stroke: 1.37/64" B. Delivery Scope Description 1 Compressor block complete with intercooler between each stage and after cooler, interfilter between 2nd and 3rd stage, safety valve for each stage. 1 Filter set F 1 complete with: 1 Oil and Nater Separator 1 Purifier I Safety Valve 1 Pressure Maintaining Valve 1 Filling Manifold with 2 Outlets, One plugged 1 Filling Cock 1 Pressire Gauge 0-4500 psi I Frame complete with: 1 Motor wing suitable for electric and gasoline drive 1 Tool set, comprising: 1 inner hex. Key 5 mm I inner hex. Key 6 mm 1 inner hex. Key 8 mm I valve head key I Motor V -belt pulley profile SPA Motor .Specifications Type: Horsepower Voltage: Free Load Speed: Frame and Mounting: Free Lend Current Drain: Electric 5 230/460 3 Phase 1735 RPM NEMA Frame 184T 23.0 amps SECTION 2. The City Mnnarer shall advertise for bids by posting a notice, at the City Hall door and by inserting notice of the request for bids in the Paducah Sun-Dernacrat as provided for by law. All bids shall be scaled and no bid shall be 908 received after the hour fixed in the notice for the opening of same. All bids received by the City Manager up to the time fixed in the Notice for opening of same shall be filed with the Board of Commissioners who may let a contract to the best responsible bidder, The Board shall have the right to refuse and reject any and all bids. SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and afte: the date of its adoption.
