ORDINANCE NO. 75-5-1135
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLE]
"AN ORDINANCE APPOINTIATG A BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE OPERATION C
A MUNICIPAL COLLEGE IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY," WHICH WAS
ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COA51ISSIONERS ON NOVEMBER 6, 1939, AND L,
AMENDED ON FEBRUARY 29, 1972
WHEREAS, a vacancy in the membership of the Board of Trustees of
the Paducah Community College (formerly Paducah Junior College) has been
created by the death of T. S. Waller, and it being necessary to fill said vacanc
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIO
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title quo
which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on November 6, 1939, and 1
amended on February 29, 1972, be further amended so that said section as ami
shall hereafter read as follows :
"SECTION 1. That Royce Gregory be appointed a member of the Bc
Trustees of the Paducah Community College to fill the vacancy created by the
T. S. Waller, so that said Board of Trustees (appointed by the City) as now c,
shall be composed of John G. Russell, Marshall E. Nemer, Dr. Leon Higdon, ]
Gray, 1911liam A. Feiler, Beasley Vaughn, Jack Rottgering, George Crounse,
Whiteside, Dr. Walter R. Johnson, 'Mrs. Robert Iiassman and Royce Gregory.
Said P.oard of Trustees shall control the municipal college in the Ci _
Paducah which has been established pursuant to the provisions of KRS 165.160 to
165.200, rind are to have nll the powers given to them pursuant to the provisions of
said statutes."
SI-CTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of it's adoption.
