HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 901, Ordinance Number 75-5-1133901 ORDINANCE NO. 75-5-1133 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND T1IE CITY TREASURER TO PAY THE SUM OF $10,000.00 TO WADE DAVIS FOR A PERMANENT RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR THE LITTLEVILLE ACCESS ROAD BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Manager and the City Treasurer be, and they are hereby, authorized to pay to Wade Davis the sum of $10, 000.00 for the purchase of a permanent right-of-way for the Littleville Access Road upon the hereinafter described land in Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky: PARCEL 13 Beginning in the grantors west property line, said point being the intersection of the north right of way line of proposed Littleville Access Road, said point also being 90 feet north (at right angles) of proposed Littleville Access Road; thence south 72 degrees 13 minutes east along said proposed north right of way line a distance of 141.48 feet to a point, said point being 90 feet (at right angles) from the centerline of proposed Littleville Access Road; thence south 77 degrees 55 minutes 38 seconds east along the said proposed right of way line a distance of 502.49 feet to a point, said point being 40 feet (at right angles) from the centerline of proposed Littleville Access Road; thence south 72 degrees 13 minutes east along the said proposed right of way line a distance of 289.05 feet, said point being 40 feet (at right angles) from the centerline of proposed Littleville Access Road; thence in a southeasterly direction along an are and parallel to the centerline of said Littleville Access Road a distance of 271.14 feet to a point, said point being 40 feet (at right angles) from the centerline of proposed Littleville Access Road; thence north 54 degrees 03 minutes east along the proposed right of way line a distance of 32.30 feet to a point, said point being 60 feet (at right angles) from the centerline of proposed Littleville Access Road, said point also being in the grantor's east properly line and in the west existing right of way line of Bloom Street (a 50 foot street); thence in a southerly direction along the existing west right of way line of Bloom Street and the grantor's east property line a distance of 120 feel to a point, said point being the intersection of the west right of way line of Bloom Street and the south proposed right of way line of Littleville Access Road, said point also being 60 feet (at right angles) from the centerline of said Littleville Access Road; thence north 51 degrees 32 minutes west along the south right of way line of said proposed access road a distance of 33.90 feet to a point, said point being 40 feet (at right angles) from the centerline of said access road; thence in a northwesterly direction along the south right of way line of proposed access road and along an arc a distance of 290.76 feet to a point, said point being 40 feet (at right angles) from the centerline of said access road; thence north 72 degrees 13 minutes west along the south right of way line of said proposed access road a distance of 289.05 feet to it point, said point being 40 feet (at right angles) from the centerline of said proposed access road; thence north 74 degrees 07 minutes 33 seconds west along the south right of way line of said proposed access road a distance of 300.17 feet to a point 50 feet (at right tingles) from the centerline of said proposed access road; thence north 79 degrees 48 minutes 40 seconds west along the south right of way line of said proposed access road a distance of 302.65 feet to a point 90 feet (at right angles) from the centerline of said proposed access road; thence north 72 degrees 902 13 minutes west along the south right of way line and para centerline of said proposed access road a distance of 53.81 a point in the grantors west property line, said point also the east existing right of way line of the Illinois Central ar Railroad, said point also being 90 feet (at right angles) fri centerline of said proposed access road; thence north 0 de minutes west along the grantors west property line a dista feet to a point in the grantor's west property line, said poi 32.74 feet south of (at right angles) the centerline of said access road; thence north 31 degrees 54 minutes 30 secon( the grantors west property line a distance of 126.56 feet to of beginning. Smith and Son Realty Company, by deed dat and of record in Deed Book 457, page 103, in the McCrack, Court Clerk's Office. SECTION 2. Upon receipt of a deed conveying said propel City of Paducah and approved by the Corporation Counsel, the payme purchase price set out in Section 1 hereof to Wade Davis is hereby au directed. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this of therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for p in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
