ORDINANCE NO. 75-5-1126
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE

OF MADISON STREET, 40 FEET {VEST OF NORTH 13TH STREET, AND AMENDING THE
PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1971 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission
on May 5, 1975, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED
ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF MADISON STREET, 40 FEET {VEST OF NORTH 13TH STREET"
be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set
forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the some are hereby, declared to be in agreement
with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and
it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone, to B-3, General
Business Zone:
Beginning at a point 70 feet west of the intersection of the
centerlines of 13th Street and Madison Street; thence with the
centerline of Madison Street in a westerly direction 40 feet;
thence in right angles and in a southerly direction 206 feet to a
center of a 10 foot alley; thence in an easterly direction and with
the center of said 10 foot alley a distance of 40 feet; thence in right
angles and in a northerly direction 206 feet to the point of beginning.
i SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this

ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION S. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and

after its adoption.
