ORDINANCE NO. 75-5-1123
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF WARNER MORRIS, JR.,
501 SOUTH 11TH STREET, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH
IN A CERTAIN LOT ON SOUTH 11TH STREET FOR THE SUM OF $200.00, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERIC TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Warner Morris, Jr. in the amount of $200.00
to purchase the interest of the City in the following described lot in said city be
accepted, said lot being described as follows:
Being Lot No. 18 in Block No. 9 of Churchill's Addition,
fronting 37.33 feet on the west side of South 11th Street,
and as shown on page 13 of Block Map Book No. 2 in the
office of the City Engineer.
Being the same land (Robert T. Brown and C. T. Allen
property) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy,
City Treasurer, by deed dated April 29, 1971, and of record in
Deed Book 528, page 147 in the McCracken County Court
Clerk's Office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $200.00 to the City Treasurer,
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Warner
Morris, Jr. all the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in
Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain
no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown
by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
