ORDINANCE NO. 75-4-1116
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-28 "QUALIFICATIONS OF MEMBERS
AND OFFICERS" OF ARTICLE If "COMBINED AUXILIARY POLICE FORCE AND CIVIL DEFENSE
�! POLICE FORCE", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
!! PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 25-28 "Qualifications of members and officers"
of Article Il "Combined Auxiliary Police Force and Civil Defense Police Force", of the

Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, shall be amended and reordained
so that said section shall hereinafter read as follows:
"Sec. 25-28. Qualifications of members and officers.
Each member and officer of the combined auxiliary police force
and civil defense police force shall be a resident of the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, in good physical condition, able to read, write and under-
stand the English language, and no person shall be appointed unless
he is a person of sobriety and integrity and has been an orderly law
abiding citizen. Each member and officer shall be at least tewnly-one

I years of age."
SECTION 2. Section I above amends Section 4 of Ordinance No. 68-2-8,

which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on February 13, 1968.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
