HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 877, Ordinance Number 75-4-1113ORDINANCE NO. 75-4-1113 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF NATIONAL UTILITY PRODUCTS COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ADJUSTABLE MANHOLE RINGS TO BE USED IN STREET RESURFACING WORK, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of National Utility Products Company for sale to the City of 135 adjustable manhole rings to be used in street resurfacing work for the sum of $7,290.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on March 25, 1975, and as contained in the bid of National Utility Products Company dated March 31, 1975. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with National Utility Products Company for sale to the City of the equipment authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said material shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3412. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
