.N ORDINANCE. ACCEPTING THE BID OF REED CRUSHED STONE COMPANY,
,E TO THE CITY OF IT'S REQUIREMENT OF LIMESTONE FOR THE YEAR

EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
IE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF

ECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Reed Crushed Stone
. for sale to the City of it's 1975 requirement of limestone to be used in
ction work, said bid being in words and figures as follows:
We propose to furnish, sell and deliver to the City of
aducah, within the city limits, crushed limestone in lots
f 100 tons or more, as ordered, for $2.55 per ton (two
ollars and fifty-five cents per ton) and rip -rap, as ordered
)r $2.95 per ton (two dollars and ninety-five cents per ton.
his is a firm price and will not be advanced during the
ear 1975. In the event of a reduction in our market price,
e agree to adjust the price accordingly.
'e will start delivery within twenty-four hours after

4CTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
ntract with Reed Crushed Stone Company, Inc. for the purchase of the
.. .,l out in 6ection 1 above, and according to the provisions in said
resolution and in said bid which is dated April 2, 1975.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said material shall he charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3412.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for one week in the
completed form in which it shall he put upon its final pasmtge, and if adopted shall be
in full force and effect immediately therenfter.
