AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IN BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, TO REQUEST AN ADVANCE OF FUNDS PURSUANT TO SUB -PART 570.302
'ADVANCE OF FUNDS AND AUTHORIZATION TO INCUR COSTS' OF TITLE 24 OF TILE
CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER V, PART 570 'COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS"'
WHEREAS, a resolution bearing the title quoted above, was adopted by
the Board of Commissioners on January 21, 1975, and
WHEREAS, Section 1 of said resolution authorized and directed the Mayor
to request an advance of funds, but made no further authorization to incur costs.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAII, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IN BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, TO REQUEST
AN ADVANCE OF FUNDS PURSUANT TO SUB -PART 570.302 'ADVANCE OF FUNDS AND
AUTHORIZATION TO INCUR COSTS' OF TITLE 24 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS
AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER V, PART 570 'COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS"'
be amended by adding thereto the following:
"SECTION IA. That the Mayor or City Manager of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and they are hereby, authorized to incur costs relating to Community
Development Block Grants pursuant to Sub -part 570.302 of Title 24 of the Code of
Federal Regulations, as amended by Chapter V, Part 570 "Community Development Block
Grants".
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption, and retroactive to January 21, 1975.
