ORDINANCE NO. 75-3-1103

AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GENE GRIEF & SONS, INC.
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF RESTROOM FACILITIES IN STUART NELSON PARK,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
CONSTRUCTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Gene Grief & Sons,
Inc, for the construction of restroom facilities in Stuart Nelson Park in the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, said bid being in the amount of $9, 797.00; said bid having the
required specifications as set out in the Invitation for Rids, Contract Documents
and the Resolution authorizing such bids, which was adopted on ]March 4, 1975,
and as contained in the bid of Gene Grief & Sons, Inc. dated !March 14, 1975.
SECTION 2. That the City ]Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Gene Grief and Sons, Inc. for the construction project as
set out in Section 1 above, according to said resolution, invitation for bids, contract
documents and the bid of Gene Grief & Sons, Inc.
SECTION 3. All costs by the City of Paducah relating to the subject

construction and contract shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account
No. 5125.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection

in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter,
