ACCEPTING THE BID OF GOODYEAR SERVICE STORES FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH IT'S REQUIREMENT OF NEW AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK TIRES FOR THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1, 1975 TO JANUARY 31, 1976, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Goodyear Service Stores for furnishing the City of Paducah with it's requirement of new automobile and truck tires for the period of time from January 1, 1975 to January 31, 1976, said bid being in substantial compliance with the specifications set out in the resolution dated December 23, 1974, adopted by the Board of Commissioners, authorizing bids, and as contained in the bid of Goodyear Service Stores dated February 15, 1975, which bid was received and filed with the Minutes of the meeting of Alarch 11, 1975. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Goodyear Service Stores for the purchase of the materials as set out in Section 1 above according to said resolution and bid. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in (lie completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
