ORDINANCE NO. 75-3-1094
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING T11E REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE OLD
MAYFIELD ROAD, NORTH OF QUARLES AVENUE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING
ORDINANCE, -1971 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission
on March 17, 1975, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAIi PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED
ON THE OLD MAYFIELD ROAD, NORTH OF QUARLES AVENUE", be approved as the
final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement
with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and
it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone, to B-3, General
Business Zone:
Beginning at the point where the center line of the Old
Mayfield Road intersects the center line of Quarles Avenue
as it extends in a westerly direction from the Old Mayfield
Road; thence in a southwesterly direction and along the
center line of Quarles Avenue a distance of 187.5 feet more
or less; thence in a northwesterly direction and partially
along the westerly boundary line of 7.olon Rallis a distance
of 112.95 feet; thence in a northerly direction and along the
westerly boundary line of Danny Natters a distance of 53.7 feet;
thence in a northwesterly direction and along the westerly
property line of }toward Smithson a distance of 40 feet; thence
in a southwesterly direction and along a boundary line of the
City of Paducah a distance of 270 feet more or less; thence at
right angles and in a northwesterly direction along a line
bounding the properties of the City of Paducah a distance
of 303 feet more or less; thence at right angles and in a north-
easterly direction partially along the northerly property line
of Edgar Aletzger a distance of 354.3 feet more or less to the
center line of the Old Mayficld Road; thence in a southeasterly
direction and with the center line of the Old Mayfield Road a
distance of 550.31 feet more or less to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph ar provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
,u• invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof, it tK:ing the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs find provisions.
S[CTIO5 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
