ORDINANCE NO. 73-2-765
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR THE
SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF TWO (2) 1973 MAVERICK, TWO DOOR SEDAN
AUTOMOBILES FOR USE BY THE CITY INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS .OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City accept the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc.
for the sale to the City of two (2) 1973 Maverick, two door sedan
automobiles for use by the City Inspection Department, said bid
being in the total amount of $5,150.00 with an allowance for trade-in
of one 1966 Chevy II in the amount of $200.00 with the net price for
both of the units to be purchased being $4,950.00, and said bid being
dated February 20, 1973, and in compliance with the resolution and
specifications for such bid as was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on February 6, 1973.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for purchase
of the vehicles set forth in Section 1 above according to the bid,
specifications and all contract documents relating thereto.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least
one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final
passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately
thereafter.
