HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 823, Ordinance Number 75-3-1089823 ORDINANCE NO. 75-3-1089 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF VAN SICKLE TRACTOR SALES AND SERVICE COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE (1) MINI BACKHOE END LOADER TO BF USED BY THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURC14ASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Van Sickle Tractor Sales and Service Company for sale to the city of one (1) Terramite Series 15 mini backhoe and end loader, to be used by the Cemetery Department, for the sum of $5,835.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on February 4, 1975, and as contained in the bid of Van Sickle Tractor Sales and Service Company dated February 17, 1975. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Van Sickle Tractor Sales and Service Company for sale to the City of the equipment authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to General Fund Account No. 3014. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
