ORDINANCE NO. 73-2-763
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING CERTAIN STREETS AND AN ALLEY SITUATED
BETWEEN POWELL (GILSON) STREET AND YEISER STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closing of certain streets and an alley in the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, described as follows:
All that portion of Maggie Street extending from the
north line of Powell (Gilson) Street to the south line
of Yeiser Street.
The 16 foot alley in Block 13 of Gilson, Rock and Tully
Addition, said alley extending from the north line of
Powell (Gilson) Street to the south line of Yeiser Street,
situated between and parallel to Maggie Street and Locust
Drive.
All that portion of Leiberman Street extending from the
north line of Powell (Gilson) Street to a point 281 feet
north of Powell (Gilson) Street.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and
directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an
action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the
closing of the streets and alley described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
