ORDINANCE NO. 75-2-1085
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR
SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) 1975 FORD MAVERICK TO BE USED BY THE STREET
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc.
for sale to the City of one (1.) 1975 Ford Maverick 4 door sedan, Model 92, to be used
by the Street Department for the net price of $3,349.50, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized
by resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on January 28, 1975, and as
contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. dated February 10, 1975.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for the sale to the City of the vehicle
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said vehicle shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3414.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
public inspection for one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
