ORDINANCE NO. 75-1-1074
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING TILE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
WITH COMMUNITY PROGRAM CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR ASSISTANCE IN RESEARCH,
DOCUMENTATION AND PREPARATION OF AN APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE UNDER TITLE I OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT
OF 1974
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah intends to prepare such documentation as
necessary to submit an application for Federal financial assistance under Title I of the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (P. L. 93-383) in accordance with
24 CFR Part 570, and
WHEREAS, the services of a consulting planning firm will be required for
the research, documentation and preparation of said application, and
WHEREAS, such services are of a distinct professional and noncompetitive
nature and the City of Paducah and Community Program Consultants, Inc. have agreed
on the terms and provisions of a contract whereby Community Program Consultants, Inc.
will provide the aforesaid services,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to execute a contract with Community Program Consultants, Inc. , for
professional services in preparation of the City's application for financial assistance
under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (P.L. 93-383).
SECTION 2. That all funds expended by the City under the terms of the
aforesaid contract shall be charged to Account No.9094.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
public inspection for one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage, and if adoptod shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
