A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
SALE TO THE CITY OF FOUR (4) PICKUP TRUCKS TO BE USED BY THE
9TENANCE, REFUSE AND PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENTS, AND
SCRIBING THE MANNER IN WHICII BIDS SHALL BE SUBMITTED
BE IT RESOLVED BY TIME BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF TILE CITY OF
UCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, requested
authorized to advertise for bids for sale to the City of four (4) pickup trucks
used by the Maintenance, Refuse and Parks & Recreation Departments, having
ninimum specifications according to the specifications attached hereto and by
.,once incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. The City Manager shall advertise for sealed bids by posting
:ice at the City Hall door, and by inserting notice of the request for bids in the
Democrat for not less than seven days nor more than twenty-one days before
ipening of same. All bids shall be sealed and no bid shall be received after
tour fixed in the notice for the opening of same. All bids received by the
Manager up to the time fixed for the opening of same shall be filed with the
d of Commissioners who may let a contract to the best responsible bidder,
:he Board of Commissioners shall reserve the right to reject any and all bids
he City shall not become legally obligated to purchase same until the adoption
ordinance authorizing the execution of a purchase contract.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
its adoption.
