AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-47 "NONCIVII, SERVICE EMPLOYEES
GENERALLY", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2-47 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said section
as amended
and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 2-47. Noncivil Service Employees generally.
(a) The monthly or hourly rate of compensation of the
following noncivil
service employees of the City of Paducah shall be the amount set
opposite the desig-
nation of such employment, to -wit:

(b) The code enforcement officer A shall be paid at the rate of $700.00
i per month for the first year of employment; at the expiration of one year $710.00

per month; and at the expiration of two years $720.00 per month, such increases
! to be made upon recommendation of the city manager.
(c) The code enforcement officer B shall be paid at the rate of $675.00 per
month for the first year of employment; at the expiration of one year $685.00 per
month; and at the expiration of two years $695.00 per month, such increases to be
made upon recommendation of the city manager.
(d) The switchboard operator shall be paid at the rate of $395.00 per month
for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months $405.00 per
month; at the expiration of one year $415.00 per month; and at the expiration of
two years $425.00 per month, such increases to be made upon recommendation of

(e) The clerk -typist -secretary police department, shall be paid at the rate
of $510.00 per month for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of
1j six months $520.00 per month; at the expiration of one year $530.00 per month, and
i at the expiration of two years $540.00 per month, such increases to be made upon

recommpndation of the city manager.

(f) The assistant police court clerk shall be paid at the rate of $445.00
per month for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months

$485.00 per month; at the expiration of one year $495.00 per month; at the ex-
piration of two yer,re $505.00 per month; ,md at tine expiration or three years

$515.00 per month, such increases to he made upon recommendation of the city

SEC_rtON 2. Section I amends an urrlinance originally ndoplod March 16,
1357, and laat amended by Ordinance No. 74-8-1020 ndoptad August 27, 1974.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effeet from
and ager January 6, 1975.
