HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 756, Ordinance Number 74-12-1061756) J ORDINANCE NO. 74-12-1061 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2-52 AND 2-191, AND REPEALING SECTION 2-50 AND SECTION 2-187 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 2-52 "Alcoholic Beverage Administrator" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows: "Sec. 2-52. Alcoholic beverage administrator. (a) The person appointed as the city alcoholic beverage administrator for i the City of Paducah shall be paid for his services a base salary of $791.00 per month, said salary to be paid to him at the same time and in the same manner as the salaries of other employees of the city are paid. I (b) The said alcoholic beverage administrator shall be paid at the rate of I' $791.00 per month for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months $801.00 per month; at the expiration of one year $811.00 per month; at the i i expiration of two years $821.00 per month; at the expiration of three years $831.00 per month, and at the expiration of four years $841.00 per month, such increases to be made upon recommendation of the city manager." SECTION 2. That Section 2-191 "Compensation and allowances" of the Code f of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said i section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows: "Sec. 2-191. Compensation and allowances. The salary of the inspector assigned to the engineering department shall be four hundred sixty-five dollars ($465.00) per month, payable as other city employees arc paid, j i SECTION 3. That Section 2-50 "Same - Automobile allowance". be, and the said is hereby, repealed. SECTION 4. That Section 2-187 "Automobile allowance", be, and the same is hereby, repealed. SECTION 5. Section 1 amends an ordinance originally adopted J:muwy 16. 1951 and last amended by Ordinance No. 74-3-935 which was adopted March 12, 1974. Section 2 amends an ordinance which was adnpted .lanuary 3, 1973 and was List fended by Ordinance No. 74-3-935 adopted March 12, 1974. Section 3 repeals Section I an ordinance adopted July 28, 1953. Section 4 repeals an ordinance originally opted February 15, 1972 and last amended by Ordinance No. 74-3-935 which was opted March 12, 1974. SECTION 6.
