HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 732, No Resolution Number732 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERT FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE BASE STATION WITH TONE ENCODING EQUIPD ASSOCIATED REMOTE CONTROL EQUIPMENT TO BE USED BY THE CITY OF CIVIL DEFENSE, AND PRESCRIBING THE MANNER IN WHICH BIDS SHALL B. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE PADUCAH,KENTUCKY; SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, req and authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase of one (1) base statioi twenty call tone encoders, two (2) remote control console units, one (1) ba antenna and transmission line, one (1) auxiliary base station receiver and base station auxiliary power supply to be used by the City of Paducah Civil having the minimum specifications according to the specifications attached and by reference incorporated herein. SECTION 2. The City Manager shall advertise for sealed bids a notice at the City Hall door, and by inserting notice of the request for big Sun Democrat for not less than seven days nor more than twenty-one days' the opening of some. All bids shall be sealed and no bid shall be received the hour fixed in the notice for the opening of same. All bids received by City Manager up to the time fixed for the opening of same shall be filed wit Board of Commissioners who may let a contract to the best responsible bid( and the Hoard of Commissioners shall reserve the right to reject any and a and the City shall not become legally obligated to purchase same until the i of an ordinance authorizing the execution of a purchase contract.
