ORDINANCE NO. 74-11-1054
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF SHELTON FORD TRACTOR
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE (1) BACKHOE -LOADER FOR USE
BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
Shelton Ford Tractor in the amount of $9,816.45, for sale to the City of one (1)
new 1974 Model 4500 Ford Backhoe -Loader for use by the Street Department,
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by Resolution adopted by the Board of
Commissioners on October 15, 1974, and as contained in the bid of Shelton Ford
Tractor dated November 4, 1974.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Shelton Ford Tractor for sale to the City of the equipment
authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. The purchase
price for said equipment shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3414,
and shall be paid not later than January 15, 1975, provided that satisfactory delivery
of the aforesaid equipment has been made.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
