HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 727, Ordinance Number 74-11-1050727, ORDINANCE NO. 74-11-1050 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WOODALL MOTOR SALES FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE (3) 1975 FORD DUMP TRUCKS FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Woodall Motor Sales in the amount of $22,500.00 for sale to the City of three (3) 1.975 Ford, Model F-700 dump trucks for use by the Street Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on October 22, 1974, and as contained in the bid of Woodall Motor Sales dated November 11, 1974. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Woodall Motor Sales for the sale to the City of the equipment authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3414. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
