AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-6 "EXTENSION OF TMIE FOR
PAYMENT OF TAXES AND FEES DUE CITY WHEN DUE DATE FALLS ON SUNDAY OR
HOLIDAY", OF ARTICLE I "IN GENERAL", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2-6 "Extension of time for payment of taxes and

fees due city when due date falls on Sunday or holiday", of Article I "In General",
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and re -
ordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as
follows:
"Sec. 2-6. Extension of time for payment of taxes and fees due city
when due date falls on Saturday, Sunday or Holiday.
On any occasion when the final date for payment of licenses, taxes
or other fees to the city falls on a Saturday or a Sunday or on a holiday
that has been declared as a legal holiday by the city, then in such event
the time for payment without penalty or interest shall be extended to the
�I first day hereafter which is neither a Saturday, Sunday or a day declared
by the City as a legal holiday."

SECTION 2. This ordinance amends Section 1 of an ordinance adopted by
the Board of Commissioners on August 16, 1955.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
