AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF TEN (10) NEW 1975 FOUR DOOR AUTOMOBILES AND
ONE (1) NEW 1975 VAN FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc.
for sale to the City of ten (10) new 1975 Custom 500 four door Ford automobiles and
one (1) new 1975 Chevrolet CG 11005 Van, for use in the Police Department, at the
total net price of $33,422.28, including the options of radial tires and vinyl seats for
the automobiles, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of
Commissioners on October 8, 1974, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc.
dated October 21, 1974.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of the equipment
authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. The purchase
price for said equipment shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account
No. 2114.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
