ORDINANCE NO. 74-10-1032
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LEASE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BELONGING
TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO CURTIS GRACE AND JAMES MICHAEL BARNES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SUCH DOCUMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a lease on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, leasing the premises
described in Section 2 below to Curtis Grace and James Michael Barnes of 2518 Jefferson
Street, Paducah, Kentucky, for a period of one (1) year at a monthly rental of One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars per month, and said lease to provide options to renew and purchase,
SECTION 2. The property referred to in Section 1 is more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west side of Ninth
Street 60 feet south of the southwest intersection
of Ninth Street and Madison Street; said point be-
ing the southeast corner of the lot conveyed to
Flossie Allen; thence westerly with the south line
of Flossie Allen lot 175 feet to a point in the
east line of the lot conveyed by Mary F. Calissi,
et al, to henry L. Bradley; thence southwardly
with the east line of the Bradley lot 123 feet 3
inches to the south line of Tract No. 1 description
in Deed to Title Insurance and Trust Company dated
November 10, 1934, and recorded in Deed Book 185,
page 179, in the McCracken County Court Clerk's
Office; thence eastwardly with said south line 173
feet to the west line of Ninth Street; thence
northwardly with the west line of Ninth Street 123
feet 3 inches to the point of beginning.
Being the same property in all respects as conveyed
to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, by deed from J. T.
Albritton and wife, Louise P. Albritton, dated May
1.7, 1974, recorded in Deed Book 563, page 4,
McCracken County Court Clerk's Office.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
