HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 668, Ordinance Number 74-9-1020668 ORDINANCE NO. 74-9-1020 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PETER PIRSCH & SONS COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) 85 FOOT AERIAL LADDER. TRUCK FOR USE IN THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Peter Pirsch & Sons Company for sale to the City of one (1) Model 88D, 85 foot 4 Pc. Aerial Ladder Truck in the amount of $107,200.00, according to the specifications contained in the resolution authorizing bids which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on July 23, 1974, and as contained in the proposal of Peter Pirsch & Sons Company dated August 26, 1974, said bid proposal being in substantial compliance with said resolution. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Peter Pirsch & Sons Company for the purchase of the aerial ladder truck as set out in Section 1 above, and according to the specifications, bid and all contract documents upon which said bid was based. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be paid from Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Account No. 2214. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
