HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 665, Ordinance Number 74-9-1018-10 ORDINANCE NO. 74-9-1018 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING A PORTION OF SUB -SECTION (a) OF SECTION 10-52 "STREET DEPARTMENT - GENERALLY", AND SUB -SECTION (a) OF SECTION 10-53 "REFUSE DEPARTMENT", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY - BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: - SECTION 1. That Sub -section (a) of Section 10-52 "Street Department - Generally" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended so that said sub -section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows: "Sec. 10-52. Street Department - Generally. (a) There is hereby authorized and created the following positions in the street department, and the salaries of each position, provided the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted, shall be as follows: Position Base Monthly Salary Night foremen 730.00 Foreman (4 positions) 695.00 Garage foreman 695.00 Office manager 540.00 Position Base Hourly Rate Sewer maintenance man (6 positions) 3.41 Equipment operator "A" (5 positions) 3.71 Equipment operator "B" (6 positions) 3.61 Equipment operator "C" (2 positions) 3.51 Street repairman (6 positions 3.31 Truck drivers (12 positions) 3.21 Night watchman 3.21 Laborers (3 positions) 2.98 Chief mechanic 3.81 Mechanic class "A" (5 positions 3.71 Mechanic class "B" (2 positions) 3.51 Concrete finisher (3 positions) 3.71 Vehicle body repairman 3.61" 665 666 SECTION 2. That Sub -section (a) of Section 10-53 "Refuse department' of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said sub -section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows: "Sec. 10-53. Refuse department. (a) There is hereby authorized and created the following positions in the refuse (sanitation) department, and the salary of each position, provided the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted, shall be as follows: Position Base Hourly Rate Collectors (23 positions) 2.98 Truck drivers class "A" (3 positions) 3.41 Truck drivers (8 positions) 3.21 Tire repairman (1 position) 3.41 Equipment operator "A" (2 positions) 3.71 Mechanic class "B" 3.51" SECTION 3. Section 1 above amends a portion of Ordinance No. 74-4-951 passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 2, 1974 and last amended by Ordinance No. 74-9i-989 dopted June 18, 1974. Section 2 amends Section 1 of Ordinance No. 74-4-952 which was adopted April 2, 1974. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and retroactive to September 2, 1974.
