ORDINANCE NO. 74-9-1017
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ARROW BLUE PRINT COMPANY
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) THEODOLITE AND TRIPOD FOR USE BY THE
CITY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Arrow Blue Print
Company in the amount of $1,989.00 for the sale to the City of one (1) Wild T-16ED
Theodolite and one Wild GST -10 Tripod for use by the City Engineering Department,
said bid being contained in the bid of Arrow Blue Print Company dated July 30, 1974.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Arrow Blue Print Company for the sale to the City of the
items authorized in Section 1 above according to the bid proposal of Arrow Blue
Print Company and all contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to
Account No. 3112.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
