ORDINANCE NO. 74-8-1013
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH COMMUNITY PROGRAM CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR TECHNICAL
AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLANNING
STUDY TO BE CONDUCTED IN COOPERATION WITH THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION AND FINANCED IN PART UNDER SECTION 701 OF THE HOUSING ACTS
OF 1954 AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission on August 19, 1974, approved
a proposed contract for technical or professional services to be entered into between
the City of Paducah and Community Program Consultants, Inc. , for the purpose of
preparing a Community Development Plan to be financed in part by 701 funds, and
WHEREAS, said Planning Commission has referred the proposed contract
to the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah for final action,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to execute a contract with Community Program Consultants, Inc. for
technical and professional services in the preparation of a Community Development
Study to be financed under Section 701 of the Housing Act of 1954 with a total sum
of $10,000.00 for the services to be performed pursuant to the contract.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
public inspection for one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
