HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 65, Ordinance Number 73-2-757ORDINANCE 140. 73-2-757 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE LAYING OUT, SUBDIVIDING AND PLATTING OF LANDS WITHIN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND RELATED MATTERS; ESTABLISHING SUCH RULES AND REGULATIONS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON JANUARY 30, 1973, BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 18 "PENALTY PROVISION" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That an ordinance bearing the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on January 30, 1973, be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding thereto the following section. "SECTION 18. PENALTY PROVISION Any person, firm or corporation, whether individually or as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, who breaches or violates any provision of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not less than $100.00 nor more than $500.00 for each offense so committed, and any person so offending or so guilty may, upon conviction, in addition to such fine, be imprisoned not more than 50 days at the discretion of the Judge or Jury teying the case, and in the event the offense or violation is a continuing one, extending from one day until the next, a separate offense or violation shall be deemed to have been committed on each day involved and shall be subject to a separate penalty under the provisions hereof." SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
