HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 64, Ordinance Number 73-2-75664 V ORDINANCE NO. 73-2-756 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A "CITY OF PADUCAH, FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND"ACCOUNT, AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $5,013.57 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO SAID ACCOUNT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. There is hereby established a "City of Paducah, Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund" account and the Peoples Bank and Trust Company of Paducah, Kentucky, is designated as the depository for said account; the purpose of said account shall be to facilitate in the accounting for all cash receipts and disbursements of Federal Revenue Sharing funds received by the City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed upon the creation of the aforesaid Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund account to transfer from the General Fund to the "City of Paducah, Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund" account the sum of $5,013.57. SECTION 3. All moneys paid into, transferred or credited to the herein established account shall accumulate in such fund until expended as provided for by law, and it shall not, at any time, be subject to lapse into any other fund or become a surplus available for, or which may be used for, any other purposes except as may be provided by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be known and referred to under a short title as "Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Ordinance", and any amendments hereto and any ordinances, resolutions, or motions pertaining to same may refer to this ordinance by its short title aforesaid. SECTION 5. If any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
