FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE CURBS, GUTTERS, SIDEWALKS AND DRIVE APRONS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the bid of Wilkins Construction Company, Inc. for construction of concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks and drive aprons at various locations throughout the City of Paducah be accepted, said bid being dated June 28, 1974, and in compliance with the resolution requesting bids which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on June 11, 1974. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Wilkins Construction Company, Inc. for the construction set forth in Section 1 above at the unit prices contained in the bid of the said Wilkins Construction Company, Inc, with the total sum for all construction at various locations throughout the City not to exceed the sum of $24,000.00, such sums to be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Account Nos. 3450 and 3451. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
